It’s that time when we all become a little nostalgic about the 12 months that are coming to an end and reflect on the year’s journey.

Moving On And Moving In
2019 was the year when we opened two new offices, including our first premises in London. Tax services are now being handled by our Mayfair team.
Farren Brooker, who has been with the company since 2013 and was previously the Hitchin portfolio holder, is heading up the new Bishop’s Stortford office.
Growth In Service
We have found a niche in providing more complex and specialist audit services to highly regulated industries and this year we have successfully expanded this side of our business.
We can help with:
- Managing the unique needs of law firms;
- Advising solicitors to enable them to gain a competitive advantage through improved compliance;
- Delivering clarity to construction firms through our understanding of the industry’s unique requirements;
- Understanding the audit process with our specialist knowledge.
Xerocon 2019
But we have enjoyed some downtime too. We joined industry professionals at the annual Xerocon to listen to some inspiring speakers and network with our fellow accountants from around the country.
As a Gold Partner of Xero, the online accounting software, we benefited from being at the London event to hear from our peers.

Glove Story
Finally, a big shout-out to Managing Director Pete Bracey who pulled on his boxing gloves to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
He had set himself a target of £500 but raised more than £2,000 for taking part in the Ultra White Collar Boxing event.
